13 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Happy Anniversary!!!

And what a ride it’s been! We opened our doors during the 2008 recession and had definite concerns about the timing; but we were focused, had a goal and here we are, grateful to celebrate another year.

Since we’ve opened, we’ve had many ups and downs. We’ve had moments to celebrate but we’ve also had challenges we had to face. We had 9 maternity leaves between our stylists (and welcomed 9 beautiful children!); but we struggled to maintain a consistent work schedule during the time off. We work and have worked with the BEST stylists and have grown and learned so much from each of them; but we’ve also parted ways with some. We survived a lockdown in March earlier this year, where we were forced to shut down for just over 3 months; but we reopened our doors with new measures in place to keep our clients and staff safe, and of course to keep your hair looking great! And now, during our busiest 6 weeks of the year, we’re in another lockdown; but we’re still here, like we have been, like we will be. If there’s one thing we can be certain of in a time of such uncertainty, is that we are RESILIENT. WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS, TOGETHER!

This wasn’t the 13 year anniversary celebration we were expecting to have but we do know that without the love and support of our clients, families and friends, we would not be here today. We want to take the time to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of The Colour Room’s journey. The dedication we have to our craft and to our clients only continues to grow each year and we will do our absolute best, as we always do, to keep our doors open. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
